All I needed to see was his wiki where he was quoted describing his Jamaica Plain neighborhood as “rough”… when I later saw that neighborhood was on the Jamaica Way, a place well known for houses that made the rest of us envious (us being kids who grew up in the area), I stopped caring. I wanted so much to like him as a person after struggling so much with his character Kendall. As a recovering addict myself, I identified so much with the delusion, but not of course with the wealth. Ultimately, though, this is a “hometown” actor that no one here should want to be associated with. Yuck.
Have you seen him give interviews as opposed to just reading them? He doesn’t seem annoying at all to me. He seems very kind and soft-spoken and thoughtful. I’m not sure why this is worthy of mockery.
